Peter's Barber Shop

Peter's Barber Shop was established in 1927, it is the oldest running business in the Village of Great Neck Plaza. 

The barber shop had two owners before Peter Diana purchased the shop. Peter has worked in the shop since 1969. Then Samuel Nektal joined the picture in 1993. Since then Sam bought the shop from Peter in 1997 but has not renamed it to "Samuel's Barber Shop," he said, "I have such a great respect and admiration for Peter... He is my mentor and my friend; I wouldn't think of changing the name." Mayor Celender gave Peter and Sam proclamations and declared the month of June in the Village of Great Neck Plaza to be: Peter’s Barber Shop Month!
